Summary: Ko Olina is a fantastic place to stay and having a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a kitchen was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the balcony and having plenty of space for all of us. There are 4 lagoons in Ko Olina - this property surrounds Honu Lagoon which seems to be the least crowded. We walked around the other lagoons that have the Disney hotel and the Marriott and they were so crowded and crazy, we knew we had made the right decision. There isn't a big restaurant on the property so you need to walk or drive if you want to go out for a proper meal. However, there's a bar that serves pizza, chicken nuggets, etc so we did that for lunch one day. The check in process was a little confusing because you get your key card from the front desk but they don't have any other info for you. So I figured there would be a welcome folder in the room with wifi password, brief how to use the kitchen appliances, etc - but we didn't find any of that. I had to message the property manager to get the wifi information. I've stayed at a lot of properties using VRBO and this was the first one that I had to keep going into my account to make manual payments and they tack on a credit card fee at the end. I booked this place almost a year in advance so I forgotten that they mention the credit card fee in the property details but it's not listed as one of the payments on the confirmation email. So there was a bit of extra work and confusion on my part.
