Beautiful sunflowers, hydrangeas, lilacs,hostas, and stately 100 year old cedar trees surround our property. The Idlewild also has a large vegetable and herb garden and guests are always welcome to gather fresh basil, tomatoes, rosemary, chives, and cilantro for your appetizers and cookouts! We strive to make our grounds reflect the peaceful tranquility our guests feel upon arrival to rest and truly get away from it all.

Summary: We had a great time. The place was lovely and very big. Beach across the street was fantastic and not crowded at all. Manager came right over to fix a little problem with a bathroom sink. Lots of A/C units and we enjoyed the front porch a lot. We could have lived without the ant problem in the kitchen.
