Summary: The room was beautiful. the hotel was beautiful, the food was superb. But I won't stay there again. For such a beautiful, historic hotel, when we checked in, we thought there was some type of costume theme going on. Honestly, first impressions are lasting. I would think the hotel would want to present a professional image. That was not the case. We were embarrassed as we had guests from out of the country, their first time there, we had told them what a beautiful, historic hotel, then the person checking us in was not professional in appearance in any way. It was horrible. We will not stay again, so sad. If that is the best image they can present to represent their beautiful hotel, we will stay elsewhere.
