This perfect location is situated above the Tiber Valley on the edge of the National Park. Only 3 kms from the Medieval centre of Anghiari where you can find many restaurants, shops and bars.
The house sleeps 6 people comfortably with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one ensuite. There are 2 sitting rooms, with a sofabed on the ground floor to accommodate extra guests by request, dining room and kitchen/breakfast room. Outside dining and BBQ area. The house is situated on a small complex of three properties. The owners family live in the other two houses which sit either side of the property. The house enjoys sole use of the gardens and swimming pool/Pergola area which is equipped with its own mini fridge and bathroom facilities.
This perfect location is suitable for all ages whether you like exploring the nearby footpaths, cycling or nearby towns like Arezzo (20'), Florence (1hr 20'), Siena, Assisi and many more all within driving distance perfect for day trips.
Our 15 meter infinity pool is the perfect spot to take in the sun and relax and dine by the pool. There is a BBQ area, sink and small fridge to store your cold drinks.

Summary: My sisters and I have agreed that this actually was our dream holiday come true at La Calla. We had high expectations and were used to having to adjust but La Calla was everything we had hoped for and more. The cottage/villa was comfortable, warm and welcoming. Full of character and beautifully decorated it felt less like an impersonal vacation villa and more our long-lost family home in Tuscany. The area is green and lush with endless rolling hills. We had expected to drive to all the surrounding hill towns but found ourselves draped around the spectacular pool area entirely satisfied and not needing to go anywhere. We had found our dream spot. We were very sad to say goodbye. Maya, the household dog, is often mentioned in the reviews. We now know why. She was our own personal bundle of unconditional love -- the holiday bonus you did not know you needed! Lulu was our gracious host who lives in the villa next door. She manages to be invisible but magically available if and when you need her. She spoilt us with trays of delicious fresh vegetables from her resplendent garden. We all came away feeling very lucky and somewhat blessed. Many thanks to Lulu for helping to make this sisterly reunion a dream come true. Apologies for all the gushing...
