The house is a Whistler-inspired design with solid cedar/fir post and beam construction, and expansive windows allowing for plenty of natural light. The house has high-end finishes and LED lighting throughout, together with excellent space planning and sound-proofing. Attention to detail is evident from the wainscotting to the mouldings, smart accent lighting, feature walls, furnishings and tasteful art and decor. Top of the line appliances are installed with a stainless steel Miele package and jumbo LG washer and gas dryer. Quality small kitchen appliances, cookware, dishware, utensils and condiments are included for your convenience. Plush linens and deluxe toiletries are also included for a hotel, spa-like stay.
Kingston House has 4 spacious bedrooms, 2 full and 2 half bathrooms, a large media/theatre room, den/office and gym. The master suite on the main floor has a large sitting area with chaise chair, a spacious spa-inspired ensuite with heated tiled floors, a large walk-in-closet and direct access to the deck. There is 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 2 twin beds, 3 futon beds plus 3 recliner/sleeper chairs. An air mattress and foldable mattresses are also available for larger groups. The contemporary kitchen, dining and living areas are open concept with a high vaulted ceiling in the great room that extends outside to the covered outdoor living space. A central feature is a Montigo double-sided, see-thru, indoor/outdoor gas fireplace and decorative mantle in the great room, providing plenty of heat for the outdoor living area as well. Other amenities include a sauna, indoor jetted tub, an 8-person Beachcomber hot tub under the deck, extra large Napoleon gas BBQ, 2 firepit tables, 2 heat lamps, 2 sunshade umbrellas, a variety of lounge chairs and coffee tables, 6-person dining table set on the deck, and 4 interior TVs and 1 exterior TV with high definition Denon in-ceiling stereo sound. The house is equipped with Shaw Cable, high-speed WiFi Internet services and a portable JBL Bluetooth speaker. The gym with mirrored wall has a Bowflex Professional Total Gym, various free weights, workout bench and yoga mats.
Comfort, safety and security features include smoke alarms, water leak detector, fire suppression system, exterior security cameras and Rogers smart home monitoring system. The house is equipped with a forced air central heating and air conditioning system and smart controls, and has endless on-demand hot water (Rinnai tankless system), perfect for large groups. A back-up gas generator will operate the house in the event of a power outage. 240V, 30-50 AMP EV chargers are provided for electric vehicle charging. The driveway, deck and patio areas are made of non-slip, stamped concrete. Security fencing and gates are installed with deadbolt locks providing for safety and independent access.
