Summary: Home has cameras, renovated appliances, TVs in master & living. No TV in 2nd & 3rd bdrm. 2 baths were a plus for 5 people. Property is clean, towels/washcloths, some toiletries provided. Floors creak, & the master bed shifts. Light sleeper, so I was awakened throughout the night. Sofa not comfy, too hard. A/C works great. Nice lighting in Master, dimmers in kitchen & living room. 2nd bedroom needs brighter light bulb. I would recommend baking pans, can opener & more cookware for extended stays (some cookware provided, we just needed specific items that weren't there). I expected the host to reach out to me prior to my arrival to coordinate arrival time/check-in. I had to call & text (& wait for a call back) when I arrived to get the entry code. *Sidenote: There were 2 large dogs roaming the neighborhood freely when we arrived (5pm) so we waited in the car for about 10-15 minutes until it was clear/safe to unpack the car & enter. I called the host. He said he would call the city ASAP. I also called animal control after speaking with the host, & they said they would send someone out ASAP. An officer called me the next day around 7pm. (Definitely not ASAP) We had to "watch our backs" every time we went outside to the car. The experience was much better the 2nd day, as we spent most of the day out & about. I would also suggest a dimmer light for the porch because the current light attracts bugs. A few insects came inside when we entered at night.
