Katandra, is a newly renovated 3-bedroom elevated holiday home with a northerly aspect to take in the sun light through the trees all day. The cottage provides a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and relax with the calming sounds of both the sea and the bush. Despite being so close to all the conveniences, this house feels totally secluded and peaceful. Indoors and out blend seamlessly with the open plan living area spilling out to the private large deck.
Located only a short walk to the sands of Pearl Beach, ids playground, tennis courts or a short 5-minute drive to the town centre of Umina and Ettalong Beach.
All 3 bedrooms have queen beds and ceiling fans.

Summary: Our stay was pleasant but for the price paid I was expecting much more Advertised as newly renovated.. it wasn’t.. a coat of paint and new furniture doesn’t really equate to that description The place is situated up high in bushland but the description should have been more detailed in that you need to go up about 50 steep stairs to get to the property. Not suitable for anyone that struggles with stairs Clothes dryer was broken as was the washing line so no place to dry clothes.. which was needed when you only get 1 bath towel for the stay Lovely deck looking out into the bush but noting provided to clean the deck from all the leaves which needed to be done daily. Property is also slightly on a slope so when closing the sliding bed room door it would just slide back.. needing to use the lock but then that didn’t work properly either so you’d get locked in to the room! As I said it was pleasant enough but way overpriced for what it is
