**QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD, Please be aware of noise ordinance in place from 10 P.M. UNTIL 8 A.M. Including outside speakers, as sound travels across the lake very easily! Please make sure you are also not going on the neighbor's property on the left looking out onto the lake. If you go past the boats on the side of house, you are on their property. On the beach the neighbor's property starts where the boulders end.
Ideal for a large family who likes their space yet can also be respectful of their noise levels in this quiet cottage atmosphere! When you pull through the quiet neighborhood to the Manistee Lake, you will feel as though you have plenty of room, plenty of shoreline. Enjoy the main house and the bunkhouse, which are rented together.
Great for a family vacation where everyone has their space. The 2 spaces are rented as one, and connected by an open breezeway. Bring another small family you enjoy traveling with, allow your young adults to have their own space, or create a multi-generational travel experience by bringing the grandparents and/or favorite aunts and uncles.
A complete remodel and update of this lake house was finished in early 2022. The contemporary design feels both cozy and clean. Enjoy the ambiance of the field stone fire place set with candles. The main house kitchen is ample to prepare food for 8 guests with it's 5 burner stovetop, large refrigerator with French doors, plus a deep, field house sink.
The bunkhouse is hardly your typical bunk house, as it has an full kitchen and separate bathroom. Therefore, you can be as close or private alongside with whom you are traveling.
Enjoy Manistee Lake with it's ideal kayaking and plenty of fishing opportunities. Pike, lots of panfish, small bass and walleye are found in this 860 Manistee Lake.

Air Conditioning: Yes, the Main Lake house has central air. However, the Bunkhouse does not have A/C.

Animals: Variety of birds, squirrels, turkey, coyotes, fox, deer and bear.

Beach/Swimming: There is a beach area with sand above the rocky shoreline. It can be challenging with small children to climb over the rocks to swim in Manistee Lake.

Boat Launch: Public launch, Manistee Lake Sands Park, southwest end of lake. You can then park your truck/trailer combo on the South (left) side of the house.

Dock: This lake is an All Sports Lake so bring your boat or jet skis. Dock is installed approximately the week before Memorial Day and removed the last week of October.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. If you are fussy about the thread count of your sheets, just let me know, and I'll make sure we leave a bed open for your sheets. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillow cases and bath towels.
Neighbors: 10 PM QUIET TIME--Please be conscientious of the nearby neighbors, you are within a quaint cottage community. Please, no loud music, booming fireworks, or outside smoking of substances, other than cigarettes. We have other places for you if you would like to blast your favorites while on vacation. Per our contract, guests who can't adhere to the quiet time restrictions will asked to leave, without a refund.
Parking: 4 cars, also extra area for trailers

Privacy: Association beach area on the left, and cottage on the right of lake house
