Our little slice of beach house heaven is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street, just seconds from our own secluded (mostly private) beach. From there, you are just minutes walk down to Playa Jobos (world-class surf break and beach) and minutes walk in the other direction to Playa Shacks (world-class snorkeling and reef diving beach).
Casa Del Sol, a two-story 2000 square foot, 4 bedroom, 2 bath home is nestled safely behind natural sand dunes (Las Dunas) that keep us protected from the elements, yet allows a naturally cool ocean breeze to flow through the house. We are steps to the beach! This is tropical living at is best.
Take a morning walk from the our home, down the beach path, across the boardwalk and over the dunes to the tranquil, warm turquoise waters. Discover an assortment of colorful shells, build a sun shade from the natural bamboo that washes up...
Snorkel or SCUBA right from our secluded beach (weather / current permitting)
Walk down the beach to Playa Jobos for picture perfect surfing (10 minutes)
Walk down to Playa Shacks and snorkel the reef, or SCUBA dive the tunnels (10 minutes)
We designed an outdoor living area downstairs, which is perfect for lazy days, swinging in the many hammocks hung around the house. Or take a nap in the suspended queen bed.
Head into a fully screen-enclosed family room (the Boho Lounge) with a 20 foot couch bed, large screen TV, and plenty of space for playing games and hanging out. Enjoy our outdoor shower after a beach day or soak and relax in our hot tub. Mediate or practice Yoga in our outdoor yoga studio.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Sol. The hosts were very attentive and quick to respond. The house is better then the photos, a true oasis! We loved their recommendations for restaurants, surf instructors, and places to go. Fabulous trip and we shall return!
