2 Bedroom Cottage in Thornhill

Jane Welsh Cottage is nestled in the picturesque Nithsdale area of Dumfries and Galloway countryside. Where we own 6 individual holiday cottages set around a lovely private court yard which have exclusive use of their own private HOT TUB, indoor heated swimming pool and sauna. a fee is payable for per hourly slot. There are two bedrooms, one which is an upstairs open mezzanine with en-suite shower room, this bed can either be made up into a super king bed or twin beds. The second bedroom is downstairs and can also be made into a super king bed or twin beds with the bathroom situated beside. This cottage has beautiful views of the Nith valley which can be seen through patio doors leading out from the open plan lounge/dining room onto your own private enclosed patio with HOT TUB August 2020 area which is ideal for BBQ's and outdoor seating. Perfect for any special occasion, including wedding anniversaries, birthday celebrations, Christmas, new year and any other special occasions as we are open all year round. There is a hall, open plan lounge/dining room, kitchen and bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, wash hand basin and toilet. Due to Covid 19 laundry facilities are closed until further notice.

Summary: Needed some much needed time away and we found this gem of a place for a short weekend getaway. Located in a beautiful area with many activities close by. Extremely friendly and helpful owner made you feel instantly at home. Then there is the Hot tub!!! Fabulous.....
