Positive: The host was very helpful and responsive. Whenever we ran out of household essentials, he would deliver them within minutes. I also recommend renting a car for at least a few days—it would be a shame to visit Crete without seeing all its beautiful places, and the host can help you get a discount.
Negative: This isn’t about the property itself, but you should know the pros and cons of this location: it’s very quiet and peaceful, but it’s 7 km from Rethymno’s old town center (about a €15 taxi ride) and a 30-minute walk to a large grocery store. Overall, it was good for us.
