Positive: Tipical stand Ibis hotel in the centre of Reading, on Friars Street, with its bars, cafes, etc. A 5 minute walk from Reading train station. Easy check-in, check-out. Large hotel: 13 floors. Nice en-suite double room. Large double bed with duvet, pillows. Small table beside each side of bed. Small wardrobe. Carpet on floor. Window with cirtains. Free, good speed WiFi. Lamps by bed. TV on wall. Tea/coffee, milk and sugar in room, plus kettle. Rubbish bin in room. Comfy. One chair. Small bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Hot water and good presure.
Negative: No hooks on walls in room. Hotel is verry big, easy to get lost. OK breakfast, but avoid the scrambled eggs!
Summary: Excellent Ibis hotel in Reading city centre, cheap prices. Good staff.
