Positive: We used Villa Malindi as a place for our Workation. One week of perfect amenities, flawless wifi, incredibly nice, comforting and welcoming staff (not only was the staff super nice and well aware of everything, they were also incredibly well trained, small things like serving from the right hand side, etc. were all there). Very calm place, super clean & nice pool. Last thing to mention, the incredible owner Alex. Super welcoming, very helpful in every aspect, giving you lifts to town, telling you the tricks, dos and donts to get around town, and always putting the guest first! Great service and vibe! He even organised a tennis court around the corner for us (just to show the opportunities at this place) It’s worth noting that we also stayed in watamu thereafter and the people of Malindi / property staff were much more welcoming in Malindi (especially the team at villa malindi)
