Positive: Looking for a cheap comfortable stay in the centre of Begur and it was perfectly located.Check.in.and check.out times were good ,staff were amazingly cheerful.and helpful.Breakfast was a lovely treat with plenty of choices . This was a November stay so town was quiet and parking etc easy .Bed was comfortable and room spacious and quirky.Great location for central sight seeing ,food and drink although most places were closed during our time there
Negative: Room was on front of hotel which was ok for us but be aware if you want a lie in the church bells are active early 7am onwards and also the workmen opposite started building work noise very early ...not the hotels fault I know ! Room was lovely but starting to get a little tired ..needs a refresh of paint ,wardrobe door handle missing ,and bathroom sink didn't hold water ,..spa was great but not sure everything was working as it should and again lighting ,shower and toilet rooms need a facelift .Shame you don't get a couple of complimentary coffee or tea in your room before having to pay for the extra mini bar items ..None of these would put me off staying again but I guess for premium season prices you may expect a little more on the finish details .
