3-story 2,384sqft home on private 1/2 acre lot. 2 separate living areas w/ pool table and Golden Tee arcade. Fully equipped kitchen. Expansive double decks w/ hot tub, firepit, gas grill, & seasonal views. 3 min to Wintergreen ski slopes. 12 min to Devil’s Backbone & Nelson 151 winery/brewery trail. Parking for 5 vehicles and level-2 EV charger. On-site washer/dryer. 1 Gig Wi-Fi.
Relax and enjoy Riley’s Retreat’s peaceful mountain setting, updated interior, spacious decks, and comfy gathering spaces. Our place is perfect for couples, families, and big groups looking for a quiet get-away. We provide all linens and bath towels.
The main level includes the washer + dryer, half bath, kitchen, living room, dining room and the master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bath. Upstairs you’ll find a second large bedroom with two queen beds and ensuite bathroom. The lower level includes a second living area with a pool table and kitchenette, plus a bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom (also accessible from the hallway) and a bedroom with three sets of bunk beds (six twin beds). Riley’s Retreat is perfect for three or four couples, two or three families with children, or extra large/extended families. Let the kids take over the basement living room and adults relax upstairs and on the peaceful deck.
Need to do some remote work or go online? We've got two private, dedicated work areas and high-speed Wi-fi to accommodate your needs. We subscribe to the fastest internet available in the area to make your stay more comfortable.
The main level deck includes a gas grill, dining table with eight chairs, gas fire pit, Tik wood bench, and two Adirondack chairs perfect for enjoying the sunset. The lower level deck includes a dining table with four chairs, a conversation area with four seats, and the hot tub, a great place to relax after a hike or day on the slopes. Note that during the late Spring through Fall there are limited views due to the leaves and foliage surrounding the property. However, during the Winter and early Spring you will have views of the nearby peaks.
The house has a total of six TVs - all of them can be used with your streaming accounts. We have a pool table, giant Jenga and cornhole for some friendly competition. Guests are welcome to use the wood burning fireplace in the main level living room - we provide firewood to get you started.
For your convenience, Riley’s Retreat offers an exterior ski locker. We have a fenced area of the property that is cleared of trees. During the summer you will have access to two community pools, each within a short drive from the house.
Traveling with small children? We provide a pack n play, highchair, outlet covers for electrical receptacles, bathtub washing tub, removable cabinet locks for kitchen/bathrooms, and a play mat. The top floor bedroom is equipped with blackout curtains.

Summary: We live locally but had friends and family coming to town for my birthday so we rented Riley’s retreat. Our weekend was filled with visits to all the food and beverages on 151. I loved the fun amenities at the house ( hot tub, pool table, games, etc). My initial investigation I didn’t realize we we so far up Wintergreen but in the end it did not matter and was a perfect house for the weekend ! Thank you !!
