Positive: Got it for the location on the edge of Kyoto. All my previous stays were near my office by the shinkansen station or a commute from Otsu. Big house with 4 bicycles near 2 small rail stations. Good to have the washer/dryer combo instead of line drying.
Negative: Anyone new to Japan without the duck reflex can get “gaijin scalp” on the doorways.
Summary: Nice place off the beaten path.
