Positive: Villa Sirena is a very nice property, and the outdoor pool area is lovely, as is the pool itself. You do only get to use the middle level of the property though, as the top floor (with roof terrace) is locked, as is the lower ground floor. We still had enough room for 6 of us though. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds are comfortable. There are two double bedded rooms, one single bedded room, and a room with one raised single bed with a pullout single bed next to it. It is located a short stroll down to the beach and shops/restaurants.
Negative: The only real issue we had was the requirement to collect the villa keys from the Imoswiss office, within their opening hours (and due to our flight being delayed, we arrived stressed and in a panic, 4 minutes before they closed at 8pm!). The office is halfway between the airport and villa, but we had to pay an extra 20 Euros for the taxi transfer because of the stop-off to get the keys. Apart from that, I think it is important to note that the villa sits on a steep hill, so if you don't have a car (as we didn't), it is a hard 10 minute slog uphill. Anyone with mobility issues would not be able to manage it. Finally, and it was a minor irritation, the villa behind Villa Sirena sits level with the top of the high wall behind the pool, and we often had our neighbours peering over their low wall, and once even sitting on it, as we sat around our pool!
Summary: A fun family week, with the pool being the star.
