Welcome to Twisted Sister Ranch!
Situated on 35 acres near Hico, Texas, this stucco-constructed house is a perfect destination for your next girl's getaway, family weekend or hunter’s sleepover. The main house is constructed in 3 "pods" – each being 1,000 square feet. The only doors inside the house are located in the bathroom areas, which allow amble air flow and flexible living spaces. As you enter the home, you will notice the beautiful exposed beams and Santa Fe feel. Concrete floors can be found throughout the entire home, making it very easy to keep clean.
Located in the first “pod” is the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with a new refrigerator (black stainless steel with French doors) and a stove/oven. The kitchen is shared with the large living room area that includes a TV, stone fireplace, as well as a dining table.
The second “pod” is a guest room, appointed with two queen beds, and blackout curtains for those that do not want to catch the sunrise. Also in this “pod”, is the pantry and laundry area, which sits behind the guest room area, separated by a wall. The pantry and laundry area is perfectly located next to bathrooms; allowing guests to wash pool clothes, towels, etc. during their stay. The guest bath has a glass block shower and full vanity.
Last, but not least, the third “pod” is the master bedroom, which includes a large and impressive carved king bed with a sitting area overlooking the property and pool area. Just like the guest room space, this room also has blackout curtains for those that just want to sleep in. The master bath is well appointed with a claw foot tub/shower combo and large vanity.
Outside on the covered patio, you will find a large dining table that seats up to eight guests comfortably, as well as a sitting area with a chimenea that overlooks the large in-ground pool. Also located outside is a giant bar and kitchen area, equipped with a grill, refrigerator and a sink – the perfect space for cooking hamburgers, steaks, or hot dogs while you watch your family or friends enjoying the pool/deck area.
Twisted Sister is a short distance from downtown Hico (10 minutes). In our opinion, Hico is one of the most unique, friendly, and fun places in Texas with shopping, dining, and fun all around. Hico in non-COVID years hosts many festivals, retreats, and activities that guests will enjoy being apart of. Dublin (20 minutes) and Stephenville (20 minutes) are both very close and convenient to the gates of Twisted Sister.
