Positive: The rooms are all set close to the forest despite being only 1.5 kms to the town centre of Margaret River. There is a Heritage Trail walk just next to the hotel and one can walk through the forest where Margaret River runs through the forest. The Old Settlers dwellings are maintained as a tourist attraction close to this trail as well. All rooms have a spa bath. So, if one wants to relax in them, it is great. The rooms are spacious and well laid out and are clean (though our room had dusty countertops and bath). The owner, Peter is friendly and has a chat with all the guests personally. The continental breakfast setup is pretty decent for starting the day. However, it might not cater to everyone's palate. Since the town centre is a short walk, there is a plethora of dining options. Would definitely recommend this place and return in the future.
