You’ll find all you need in the elegant, navy-and-white kitchen to prepare a feast of fresh, local produce, including a SMEG oven, stove and appliances. If you can't be bothered cooking, pop in for a classic pub meal at the iconic Lawson Hotel just down the road. A barbecue on the sprawling patio caters to laidback afternoon cook-ups, while you'll have the choice of dining indoors or alfresco, with two 10-person settings providing plenty of space to share meals. There's also a fire pit to relish evenings under the stars and sparkling festoon lights.

Summary: Due to unforeseen circumstances we were not able to stay at Haylock. At the time of booking we were advised the cost was not refundable which was fine. Unfortunately due to a family member passing I tried to modify the booking for another time and was advised this is not allowed as it is considered a cancellation. After much back and forth the property finally agreed on a 50% refund. Not sure I would ever look to book with this group again based on the lack of empathy shown. We were not changing our minds where to stay the circumstances were out of our control. Also, we were not asking for a refund just a change of date. Thankfully we did receive a 50% refund which meant others were not impacted by us not being able to make it.
