Enjoy the bush backdrop and local wildlife right from your back door in this spacious 3-bedroom cottage. You'll adore the cosy atmosphere and comforts of this traditional cottage, including a wood-burning fireplace and all linens and towels supplied by your host.

Gumview is the classic Blue Mountain's cottage situated on a quiet, leafy street that is a short 5-minute walk from Leura Mall. The cottage is surrounded by bush and has distant views of Mt Solitary. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to six guests and is a wonderful mountain retreat for families or groups of friends to holiday together.
Guests will enjoy the wood-burning fireplace in the lounge room which also has central heating/cooling and a 58" Smart TV. Please note you will need to BYO your own firewood.
The cottage has 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms and is set over two levels. On the upper level there is a king sized bedroom complete with an ensuite bathroom on the lower levels are two queen sized bedrooms and a full bathroom. Each bedroom comes equipped with column oil heaters that will keep you warm in the cooler months and all linen/towels are provided by your host.
If you feel like cooking during your stay, the cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, coffee machine and dishwasher making it easy to dine in at home comfortably with a large dining table that seats 8 people. Additionally, guests have access to the good-sized back deck which has an outdoor setting to allow you to dine by the bush and admire the distant views of Mt Solitary.
There is an internal laundry with washing machine and dryer as well as a driveway with space for two cars (limited additional street parking is also available).

•You will be required to complete our guest verification portal including signing our Short-Term Rental Agreement (“Agreement”), providing a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card on our verification portal at the time of booking. Per our Agreement, a hold of $1000 will be placed on your credit card as a Security Deposit 7 days before your Check-In Date.
•Your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole cottage, deck, and garden. Guests are welcome to park onsite in the driveway with easy access to the house

Gumview is a short 5-minute walk to Leura Mall where you can dine in the many cafes and restaurants and shop the boutique galleries.
Leura and the nearby Katoomba offers many hiking trails, look out viewing and adventure activities. Visitors come to view the magnificent Three Sisters and Echo Point and the incredible vistas of the Jamieson Valley. Check out the nearby famous cable car and the steepest railway in the world at Scenic World.
Other Things to Note:
If you want to do some further sightseeing, jump in the car and see the famous Three Sisters, Scenic railway or go across the mountain in the Sceniscender. Leura and Katoomba offers lots of bushwalks and lookouts for you to keep yourself busy from check-in to check-out.
