Positive: The location of the property was well suited for us as we wanted a quieter part of Pattaya, but nevertheless there were options to eat and shop nearby and it was easy to get into town. The apartment was lovely with nice modern decor, comfortable, clean and well looked after. It was spacious and had everything we needed for a month’s stay. The condo facilities were good although have the potential to be much better with some care and attentiveness from Florida beach staff or general maintenance. The pool areas were very good and we used them most days. The WiFi was strong except on weekends when more people were staying and it dipped in strength. Very attentive landlady who answered questions promptly via booking app. We would stay here again.
Negative: There were only few things that let down the complex as a whole so this is not a negative comment on the apartment itself or the landlord who rents through booking.com. The beach wasn’t very clean with rubbish and unkempt beach furniture that was dirty and scruffy (one day we found a condom on the covered lounger) and as this is advertised as a private beach you would expect better care and attention. The electricity did cut out a few times (the landlord was excellent in one instance and sorted us a hotel room whilst they sorted the electric issue) and the gym was supposed to be open from 6 am but was often not opened until much later. We asked for the boxing room speed ball to be pumped up to use but this didn’t happen. As I said the apartment and landlady had nothing to do with this and is just a comment on the complex which we felt was in need of updating and renovation to make this an excellent staying option.
