Positive: It was what I was looking for - a comfortable room (with good air con) in a convenient location for everything in Alicante. Easy to get to and from the airport and also to catch the bus or tram from 5 minutes away. 15 minutes walk to the beach through the centre, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Good communication with Nico, who arranged for me to store my bags securely on my last day.
Negative: I was happy enough with everything. There was some noise from the road on occasion, but to be expected in an urban area.
Summary: Comfortable and cost effective start in the heart of Alicante.
