Positive: The beds were comfortable, and the toilets and kitchen were nicely clean. The kitchen was well stocked.
Negative: It was very hard to reach the hostel staff, and many of the facilities (such as the laundry) required staff communication. After a four-night stay, we were not certain who the staff were, though we knew some were on site. In addition, our room smelled strange - possibly due to older tatami mats.
Summary: I guess we got what we paid for.
