Summary: Convenient location to historic downtown and attractions. A paid public parking lot was about 1/3 mile away, which wasn’t too bad if you are traveling light. Lots of nearby coffee shops and cafes and pubs with music (if your timing is right). It’s in an old building so we wandered through multiple fire doors and hallways to get to our room. The staff is very nice. The room was a nice size and nicely furnished with chairs, coffee table, etc. The bed was a little hard, the pillows flat. The bathroom was nice but the shower drained slowly. I was lucky in my timing and enjoyed listening to local play folk music (every second Monday) at a pub just around the corner.
