Summary:
Welcome to your home away from home nearby all amenities of town. This home is centrally located near Genesis West hospital and St. Ambrose University, as well as many shopping/dining options. Downtown Davenport, The Mississippi River, The Village of East Davenport, & our office are all within minutes. Having lived in this neighborhood for many years, we know you’ll love your new home away from home!
The Space:
You will have this house entirely to yourself. The main bedroom with Queen bed, along with the bathroom, are on the first level. There is a king size bed, along with a Twin in their own rooms on the upper level/loft.
There is a spacious outdoor patio and dining set, illuminated with lights for enjoying time outdoors, in the soon-to-be fully fenced in yard. There is also a fire pit for sitting around a bonfire, and lawn chairs.
The garage has also been finished and is equipped with an air hockey table, pool table and futon for entertainment! the garage is not setup for parking vehicles inside.
The kitchen is very well stocked for everything you will likely need to cook a meal! We provide Drip and Keurig coffee makers, ice machine, blender, toaster, cooking utensils, spices, etc.
Guest Access:
All spaces on the property except for the Basement, and the unfinished part of the garage are for guest use.
The Neighborhood:
This Airbnb is located in a residential neighborhood near Genesis West hospital and St. Ambrose University where both owners attended.
Getting Around:
Public transportation is available next to SAU, and cab companies as well as Ride Sharing apps like Uber are also available. You could also bike to many places from here. Otherwise, it is easy to get around by car in and around Davenport.
Interaction with Guests:
We are local hosts, but we rely on property managers for maintenance and repair. We can be onsite if absolutely necessary, but otherwise you most likely will not see us and we will interact mostly thru the app, or call/text if needed!

Summary: The house is very old, but renovated. Most of the renovations are good. The stairway to the upstairs could use a little more attention. The smallest of the two upstairs bedrooms opens into the other bedroom, so privacy may be an issue, but we could have lived with that. The thing that made us drive on was that the smallest bedroom upstairs was hot. There is no central air conditioning, but there are window air conditioners. The smallest room had no window air conditioner, and no screen, so the window couldn't be opened to allow circulation. I couldn't ask any of my family to sleep there.
