Positive: It was clean & comfortable. The hot tub was clean & enjoyable. The Starbucks staff were excellent.
Negative: We were supposed to be given breakfast with our stay but upon check-in the staff said it was not included for us. Also, checkin was anything but smooth. She took nearly a half an hour just to find my booking.com reservation in her computer and just kept saying I’d have to pay Marriott directly right then & there and seek a refund from booking.com. I refused & repeatedly showed her my booking.com confirmation number as well as the booking.com email confirmation. After 1/2 an hour of that and my repeated requests for her to get a manager for me to speak with, she went in the back office and “magically “ found my booking.com reservation. It was quite the frustrating & exhausting experience. I have stayed at Marriott’s for several decades and I have never had such an unfriendly experience that quite frankly was borderline rude.
Summary: The accommodations were great but the Marriott front desk staff was far from acceptable.
