Negative: Our friend arrived at the premises at 5 p.m. before we did. My daughter and I were still on the plane flying over. Upon arrival, my friend found himself in front of this lady, who started screaming and attacking him aggressively. As per his understanding, she was the hostess of the apartment. She would not be inclined to hand over the keys but instead would scream in Italian, which he was unable to understand, over and over again, something about a contract that needed to be signed. Even though we had paid her the entire amount and checked in online several days before we arrived. This lady didn't speak a word of English. My friend gave her his identification card and told her she could keep it if she felt unsafe until I got there. After a lengthy discussion, she formally handed him the keys. The day before departure, she wrote to my friend once more and asked if we would be in the apartment because he needed to sign the contract. My friend replied that we were not there, but if she liked, she could come in the morning before we leave. We got to the apartment late that evening, and we think the hostess used that as an excuse to come in while we were away, as some objects weren't in their initial position. This behavior is not acceptable, and we will not return to this accommodation again. The bathroom is old and hasn't been updated, and there were ants crawling around the shower and toilet. The rest of the apartment is spacious enough. It doesn't look as good as it does online. The windows are filthy, and the kitchen is not in a particularly clean state. Additionally, the chairs and table in the kitchen are unstable.
