Positive: Lovely cosy cottage very close to the seafront and the main high street (which has a Co-op, bakery and takeaway shops). Off-street parking in the small enclosed yard to the side of the property. We were able to park a suv quite comfortably. Lockbox straightfoward to use. Nice quiet residential properties adjacent. The owner had put the central heating on for our arrival and there was a lovely welcome basket with a couple of small bottles of wine, biscuits, tea bags and some milk. The Wifi was great and there was also Freeview TV, basic Sky channels and a dvd player. The bed was very comfy, standard double (we didn't use the other bedroom, however, the bunkbeds looked sturdy and big enough for an adult). Nice electric stove in the living room. Loved the historic black and white photos of the original inhabitants of the cottage, really nice touch! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.

Negative: There was nothing not to like. Just a couple of small observations. There were no bedside lamps to be able to read in bed. The shower unit is very tight and electric shower not very powerful. But it was fine and there is the option of a bath which also has a shower head that you could use to wash your hair. There was no anti-bac surface spray for the kitchen, although there was bleach. There was only one external bin in the yard area which appeared to be for recycling only.
