Welcome to family owned and operated Firefly Cove, a beautiful Lake Hartwell home on a quiet cove featuring four bedrooms, four full baths, full kitchen on both levels, private dock, fire pit, kayak launch ramp and more. The home is on a dead-end street so there is virtually no traffic in and out. Just a few hundred yards down the street is a public boat ramp if you bring your own boat. There are several boat/jet ski rental companies and marinas close by.

House sleeps a total of 16 people in beds. Total 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms.
— The Space Upstairs
Firefly Cove has a spacious open floor plan and views of Lake Hartwell from all rooms on the lake side of the house. Upstairs features den, kitchen, dining room, breakfast area (all with views of the lake) with multiple seating options, two comfortable couches, wine bar, cable tv, wi-fi, gas fireplace, and coffee bar. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including an electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, toaster, Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker, cookware, and dishes. The adjoining dining room comfortably seats six. Adjacent to the den is an open air deck and a screened porch for additional seating, fresh air and awesome views of the lake. Laundry room is between kitchen and garage and has an adjoining full bathroom. Firefly Cove has a desk space tucked inside the master closet (in case you have to work a little while on vacation).

Bedroom 1: King Bed, Private Full Bathroom with soaking tub, shower, huge walk-in closet (large enough to have private area for a pack ‘n play for infant or toddler), stunning views of the lake and a door to the screen porch.

— Lower Level Space
Lower level is a walk-out basement on the lake side of the house. This floor features a full kitchen (including stove, dishwasher) kitchen table with seating for 6, a comfortable den with large screen tv, and separate bunk bedroom and full bath.
Lower level bedroom has full size sleeper sofa, 2 sets of twin over full bunks for a total of 8 bed spaces for sleeping.
— Outdoor space
Convenient lakeside access out the downstairs door leads to a lower level covered patio complete with one large picnic table (seats 10) and a variety of casual seating for outside relaxing. The gas grill is located on this patio as well.
Adjacent to the patio is a fire pit area for enjoying the evening outside.
— Dock area
Located on deep water. Our pontoon is stored in the boat slip in the middle of our dock but it is not available for guests. If you bring your own boat or rent one, tying off to either side of the dock is no problem. There are also several boat and jet ski rental places close by. I will list them at the end. The dock is very private because the opposite side of the cove is Corps of Engineers property and cannot be built on. In addition, our dock is the furtherest into the cove and no more dock permits are allowed beyond ours. What that means for you is very little boat activity into our cove which makes for relaxing floating or sitting on the dock. We have two kayaks and launch ramp (on our property) available for your use. There is a boat ramp less than 200 yards from our dock. It’s not a busy boat ramp because we are on a dead end street - not many people know about it.
A word about life jackets: please bring your own. We have some but we do not claim to have every size. There are also loaner life jackets that can be checked out at Tugaloo State Park and Lake Hartwell State Park.

No matter the season, this beautiful home provides a perfect escape and all the amenities. Visit in the spring when the temperature is starting to warm up to an average of 60-70 degrees. Sip your morning coffee on the deck or relax away the afternoon in one of the outdoor chairs. Stay in the summer when the weather is perfect for swimming and boating. Unwind with the soothing breezes and views from the porch and patio.
Fall is perfect for watching or attending Clemson or Georgia games, while soaking in the beautiful fall colors, and the winter weather opens an entirely new view with the leaves having left the trees.
A perfect getaway any time of year to relax and enjoy time with your family and friends.

Keyless entry will allow access to all areas of the home except for two locked owners’ closets as well as a locked equipment room downstairs.

In order to provide and maintain this beautiful home for all to enjoy, we naturally have some rules:
Unless given written permission from the host, furniture is not to be moved from its original location. Indoor furniture is never allowed to be moved to the exterior.
No smoking
No pets.
Primary guest must be at least 25 years of age.
A few additional rules to help us be good to our neighbors:
There is plenty of driveway parking and a pull-off area in front of the house. No parking on neighbor’s properties!
Unruly Behavior: Behavior deemed disorderly and causing a disturbance to the public is prohibited. These regulations will be strictly enforced. We ask that you turn down the music and loud voices by 11 pm out of respect for the neighbors.
Fire Protection: Fire Extinguisher, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors - This home is equipped with 3 fire extinguishers (under the upstairs kitchen sink, under downstairs kitchen sink, near gast grill), smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors. There is a hose with close access to water on the outside wall downstairs near the fire pit. PLEASE AVOID building huge bonfires in the fire pit so that it is easily kept under control. Removing any of these fire extinguishers from their designated location is prohibited unless in case of an emergency. Avoid blocking hallways, doorways, steps, entrances, and exits.

Great place, we really enjoyed our stay. We watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the porch spent the day on the lake and then had s'mores by the fire. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!
