Summary: We had a lovely 4 days at gorgeous Maple House with three generations of our family. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The living spaces were great for socialising, and the pool table was a huge hit with the teenagers and grandad (although we found discarded vapes in the pool room basket in a non-smoking house!) The kitchen had everything we could have needed and the kind gift of milk, bread, butter, eggs and orange juice was a lovely touch. The downsides were that the freezer leaked and we had to keep mopping up the small puddles, there were quite a few cobwebs, and the outside areas need a lot of TLC. We had lovely weather - but couldn't use any of the seating areas in the garden because they were filthy. Luckily, we had brought our camping chairs, so we could still enjoy the sunshine in the garden. We would definitely stay again though. It's a huge house in a brilliant position to walk into town and a beautiful part of the world.
