Walking distance to Hamlin Lake's South Bayou Park and boat launch.as well as boat rentals at Waterside Resort. Long, flat driveway for parking your own boat. Plenty of entertainment fun both inside and outside this cottage **** NOTE: bridge work is scheduled for Sept 3 - November 8, 2024. With the closure of the bridge the South Bayou Park will not provide access to the main lake. Use Duneview ramp, Wilson park or the North Bayou Marina for launching.
Enjoy a quiet night looking at the stars and keeping warm around the fire pit. Plenty of room (1/2 acre) to toss around a football or play with a frisbee. Portable mini-golf mats/ putters and balls provided. Private backyard backs up to a quiet forest. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Nice large fire pit that doubles as a grill. But don't worry, there is a charcoal grill available too. Free firewood to keep the firepit going all night long.
Or head into the rec room to shoot pool, or throw a few darts. Play some oldies music on the record player or use your phone's Bluetooth. Extra fridge in rec room to keep all your beverages cold and handy. Note: no A/C or heat in the garage rec room, but we do have a couple of fans for airflow.
Walking distance (about 2 blocks) to South Bayou park where you can picnic, fish or launch your boat. Boat rentals across the street from the park. Great location, less than a 10 minute drive to downtown or to the State Park. Lake Michigan is only a 5 minute drive away. Very quiet lake resort neighborhood. Great location.
Main bedroom features a queen bed and a separate twin XL. The spare bedroom features a bunk with a queen on the bottom and a twin XL on top. Twin XLs are 6 inches longer than a standard twin and can accommodate most teens or adults (up to 165 pounds on top bunk).
A security doorbell has been installed and captures activity in the driveway. There are no other surveillance cameras on the property.
