Positive: A Stay with Million-Dollar Views – Koh Tao, Chalok Bay Our recent stay at this 4-star property in Chalok Bay was truly memorable, and for one reason above all – the views. Whether from our balcony, bedroom, or spa, the scenery was simply breathtaking, easily some of the best on Koh Tao. The peaceful location and stunning surroundings make it worth every penny. On the positive side, a special mention must go to Thomas, the French barman, who brought warmth and charm to every interaction – he really stood out.
Negative: there are a few areas the hotel could improve on. Small details, like running out of coffee beans (so only percolated coffee was available), the lobby feeling more like a cluttered fibre room, occasional power trips in the room, and missing basics like hand towels or soap in the public washrooms, do take away from the polish you’d expect at this level
Summary: if you’re looking for natural beauty, and jaw-dropping views, this hotel is absolutely worth stay
