Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Lovely farmhouse located in a peaceful and relaxing area. The place is modern and clean, and we appreciated the flexibility of the host who kindly allowed us to check in at noon instead of the standard 4 PM.
Negative: The farmhouse has 5 bedrooms, but one of the rooms (located on the top roof floor) lacks privacy as it has no door, and noise travels easily in and out. The shower in that room had very low water pressure, and unfortunately, the air conditioning doesn't reach this space properly due to the lack of a door. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, but most made a constant squeaky noise during the night which was quite disruptive. The air conditioning across the house is set to a lowest limit of 16°C, but it wasn’t effective enough to cool all the rooms. Also, the coin meter system for using the AC was quite expensive for the short amount of time it lasted.
Summary: Ellie Boo Farmhouse has great potential, but a few upgrades would make the stay more comfortable.
