Downstairs the kids will flip for the fun filled bonus room with TV/DVD, an impressive DVD library and board game collection, a foosball table and lots of seating for family togetherness. The adjoining kitchenette can keep them happily supplied with snacks. Upstairs, a giant wooden totem oversees the living/dining room and points out to the amazing ocean view to the west. Views of Haystack Rock to the south and Tillamook Head to the north join up miles of sandy beach with the endless Pacific meeting the sky. You can cozy up to the electric fireplace and watch TV, enjoy a meal at the dining table or putter in the fully equipped kitchen. Or head out the sliding doors to the wrap-around deck with its built-in picnic table and walk a few feet to a trail through dune grass to the beach. Summary: The location of this home and the view out the back windows is amazing beyond words. It was perfect for an Oregon beach getaway because even during stormy moments we could thoroughly enjoy watching the ocean. Close to Lookout point hike, the sand dune, and the stores in Pacific City if you need anything. The property is as described and is a little dated in looks but it's very functional. All the couches and chairs are comfortable to sit on and enjoy times with your family. There was plenty of room for our family of 7. We mostly stayed on the top floor so we could enjoy the amazing view. Lots of games at the home that we tried out and it was nice having a washing machine/dryer. Being able to have our dogs with us was a bonus. Management company was a bit stingy with the soap as we only got two small bars to cover all the bathroom sinks, showers, and kitchen. They did bring us washcloths as enough were not left for our entire group. I loved our time at Totem House!
