Positive: The entire apartment was clean, well positioned, the balcony was brilliant for eating out and relaxing and the air con was efficient. We would stay again, no question. Altea is a wonderful little town... great independent stores and restaurants. I'd retire here!
Negative: We arrived around midnight. Once we collected the keys from a secure box a few streets away (really clear instructions) finding the apartment, the correct door, and accessing the garage was like an episode of the Crystal Maze... if the crystal maze was a team made up of overtired parents and teenagers. A few pics or even a "how to" video would have resolved this a reduced the time from 30 minutes to a few seconds.
Summary: A comfortable, well placed, reasonable priced apartment – would visit again.
