Beautiful Loft on the third floor (no elevator) of a historic building just one minute from the Duomo,
Arranged on two levels, this loft is bright and spacious while maintaining the authentic Florentine style with very high ceilings and exposed beams.
On the lower level is a fully equipped modern kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, Nespresso, kettle, toaster), 1 bedroom with 2 separate beds that can be joined into a king-size bed, and a bathroom with shower; on the upper level is a second bedroom with a king-size bed and another bathroom with shower.
NOTE: Please note that one of the bathrooms has a small shower, if you are a tall person you should take this into account.
Like most downtown buildings, there is no elevator. The loft is on the third floor (very long ramps) and is on two levels (one flight of stairs to go to the second bedroom), so it is not the best choice for those with mobility issues.
Perfect for 2 couples, groups of 4, and families, Duomo Luxury Loft is comfortable, quiet, and has everything you will need during your stay: air conditioning, fast WIFI internet, flat-screen TV, washing machine (located in the cabinet under the staircase), and a baby crib upon request.
Located in the very center of Florence, the most beautiful area of the city within walking distance of the Duomo, it is on the third floor (no elevator) of a fantastic building built in the late 1800s.
Just a 15-minute walk from the central train station (Santa Maria Novella) and within walking distance of all Florence's main attractions (Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi Museum and Ponte Vecchio are all within 10 minutes).
The same neighborhood is also home to Florence's best stores and many restaurants and bars.
Supermarket 100 meters away. The street is delightful and the atmosphere is medieval.

# Neighbourhood overview
The apartment is located within Duomo district in Florence’s historic city centre. The Duomo area constitutes the very heart of Florence and the area takes its name from Brunelleschi’s magnificent dome on the wonderful Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral. The Duomo neighbourhood offers an array of beautiful historical buildings and superb piazzas including the Mercato di San Lorenzo, the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Repubblica, famous for its attractive cafes, patisserie shops, live music, street performers and caricature artists. Furthermore, the area is surrounded by the city’s main cultural attractions, notably Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello Palace and Casa Buonarroti, the former home of Michelangelo, not to mention the Uffizi Gallery and the museum dedicated to the city’s cathedral “Museo dell'Opera del Duomo”. The area also has much to offer in terms of fine dining and exclusive boutique shopping. The top Italian fashion houses are located along Via Tornabuoni, Via Calzaiuoli and Via del Corso and include the famous names of Salvatore Ferragamo, Armani, Versace, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Tiffany & Co. and many more. For those choosing an apartment in this area, the Duomo quarter also offers several food stores otherwise known as “alimentari”, supermarkets, laundrettes and individual gift shops as well as being adequately served by the local public transport service.
# Getting around
Florence city centre is a ZTL zone which means a “limited traffic zone” and therefore special rules apply to when you can enter this area. This particular apartment is in fact located within the ZTL zone so this means that if you are thinking of coming to Florence by car and wish to drive around and park, then you will need to pay special attention to the road signs, CCTV cameras and access cameras (they will show either a red /green light) in order to avoid receiving fines. Guests who need to travel within the ZTL zone by car to reach their apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the centre (the one nearest the apartment you are staying in) and obtain a temporary access permit. Upon arrival at the garage, guests must specify their need for access in the ZTL and the garage will then note the vehicle’s number plate and forward it to the appropriate police headquarters.

The lead guest must be over 21 years old and will be required to sign a short-term agreement upon arrival. That is for insurance, fiscal and legal purposes. All guests are required to show a valid identity card upon check-in, if not, they will not be allowed to enter (due to Italian Police regulations).
By Italian law, stays exceeding 30 nights will require a tenancy agreement ( contratto transitorio)

Strictly no partying or loud noises. Please do not make too much noise when entering and leaving the flat in the evening and after 11 pm, as to respect our neighbours.
No outsiders allowed in the apartment without written approval, in order not to contravene the police regulations.
The final cleaning fee is intended as check out general cleaning. Keep the place reasonably clean and tidy and leave the kitchen cleaned (no dirty dishes and garbage left over). If not, please note that additional costs may be charged.
In Italian households there is an electricity power limit and if you use too many appliances at the same time the main switch might go off. Be sure to switch off the devices you were using before turning back on the electricity. The main switch looks like a white box and it will be shown to you upon arrival.
The septic system is very effective, however it will clog up if improper material is flushed. Do not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If that happened and clog the septic system damages may be charged.
The municipality of Florence is classified in zone D. The activation period allowed for heating systems installed in zone D is from 1 November to 15 April
Building’s centralised AC are subject to limitations (normally AC is turned on from end of September to beginning of Spring.
Lost keys or getting locked out: Euro 100 per key set for replacement.
For stays above 30 days and above the Client will be responsible for paying bills on top of the agreed Rental fee, at the end of the stay based on Client's real consumption.
Check-in time is 3PM - 7PM
As we don't have a front desk please let us know a precise arrival time at least 24h before check in date.
Any late check in must be requested and approved 24h before arrival.
Early and Late Check-In has an extra cost:
From 12 noon to 3pm: €10 ( €15 on weekends)
From 7pm to 8pm: €25
From 8pm to 10pm: €35
From 10pm to MIDNIGHT: €45
No check-in after MIDNIGHT, except for agreement made previously.
