Positive: We loved that you’re far away enough from neighbors to not see anyone when you came out. Everyone we met around there was very friendly. We were welcomed to the cabin by a bear, but only saw it that one evening (pretty exciting!) Lots of deer on the mountain, you’ll see them everyday in your yard and on way up/down mountain. Had plenty of towels to use, loved having washer/dryer. Furniture/beds were comfortable. We had enough room to set up a dog playpen for our Shichon. Quiet area, loved hearing the creek a couple roads down. The stairs aren’t terrible, except after a long day of hiking if you have to make several trips back to the car. lol
Negative: Wish the kitchen was stocked more with seasonings and sugar/creamer for coffee. The coffee provided seemed old, may have been left by previous customers. We moved a chair out of the way of ladder and it was dirty underneath it. The room by full bathroom had bees in it. We kept having to kill them, (believe they were coming in thru the AC unit.) The grass in backyard was not mowed, every day we had to walk thru long wet grass to let our pup out. (It rained daily for our trip) :( BUT, the pros outweigh the cons and we would definitely stay here again.
Summary: Cute cabin in the woods, would stay here again.
