Summary: Our arrival to this nice cabin was initially ordinary. The grass was very thick to walk on but had been recently cut. Ok. Lock box required some fiddling from me as i don't often need to use them. Ok. Inside the cabin my first impression was "dark", but then, my wife pulled back the curtains to reveal a delightful stained pine wood interior with stained exposed beams throughout. Very cosy. The kitchen was well appointed with microwave,oven and induction cooking top. Lovley big new refrigerator. Dishwasher was unexpected addition. Laundry has washer but no drier. This property states to have underfloor heating in bathroom ,but, could not be turned on for sub zero trips to spend a penny at night....brrrrrr. The 3 electric heaters in main living space was adequate, but i still bought kindling and firewood from the "Foodery"servo down the road. The combustion heater was ravenous and for our 7 day stay i had to buy wood twice...the owner and property manager stated this was one of the consumables that the guest had to purchase as THEY DO NOT SUPPLY FIREWOOD for their valued guests. 'Nuff said. The beds were firm and unexpectedly delightful. As i snore, i was ejected to the batchelor suite by my love. All in all, for our purpose, this property was quite, comfy, and fulfilled our immediate need for a 7 day getaway to get away from family stresses at home. Not flash, but adequate for our needs. :8^)
