This beautiful little cottage is the perfect place to relax and escape from the world. Tucked away in Sky Valley resort, you will enjoy the beauty of the desert and the serenity of the private natural mineral pools and hot tubs.
Located in the heart of the desert you will be amazed by the stunning mountain views and sunsets. The resort is surrounded by hiking trails, lakes and pools. This is truly the best time to come! The weather is sunny and cool and the resort sparsely populated.

SAFETY:
Our home is professionally cleaned and sanitized before and after each guest to ensure you have a safe experience. Mask wearing and social distancing is expected (and very easy) in our serene community.
HOUSE:
This adorable cottage is a peaceful hideaway. A one bedroom + one bathroom house with a separate sunroom and enclosed outdoor spaces. The whole house is filled with sunlight with big windows and views of the mountains. You will be just around the corner from nine mineral pools that are open and spacious for social distancing. You can swim and soak to your heart's content.
The cozy living room opens up with french doors to a plant filled sunroom and patio. Our favorite space in the house to read a book, take a nap and have a glass of wine under the twinkle lights.
The bedroom has a queen sized bed and very large TV for snuggling up with your favorite shows. The bedroom opens up to the patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee and tea and listen to the birds.
There is a full kitchen and separate dining room / work from home headquarters that is bright and spacious. Full bathroom, dishwasher and washer/dryer in the home.
The property is fenced in so we can feel safe letting our puppy explore and wander in and out all day. (She loves to sprawl out in the sunroom for a nap!) The backyard has a big beautiful pine tree and dining area with grill.
INTERNET + CELL SERVICE:
AT&T gets super spotty service here. Our internet is strong so you can use your phone on wifi if you need to. Verizon/Sprint work great! We also provide a Verizon hot spot for you as a back up so you can work remotely without worry. (Highly recommend taking a swim on your lunch break.)
PETS:
Our chocolate mini dalmatian is the center of our world and we love to travel with her. We are happy to host your pet too! We allow only one pet with a $50 pet fee. The park has plenty of places to walk and you can also use the desert trials. The park also has beautiful dog parks both for large and small dogs.
COMMUNITY:
Sky Valley Resort is the desert's best kept secret. Tiny houses and midcentury style homes meander around the lakes and trails. There are over 10 natural mineral pools in addition to hiking trails, tennis, pickle ball and basketball courts. The park is very dog friendly with a small and large dog parks. There is even a farmer's market every Wednesday!

There is no postmates/uber eats however there is a chef in the community that does delicious dinners brought right to your door. You can order ahead (they sell out every day!) and it is $15 plus dessert.
This is a quiet & serene community of vacationers and permanent residents in the beautiful Sky Valley resort. If you are looking for a place to get loud and party, this spot may not be for you. The community appreciates peace and quiet at all times and in all locations. Guests must be 25 years old to book and provide a valid photo ID. Guests will sign the resort rental agreement prior to their arrival.

Summary: The units are comfortable and the resort is quiet with nice amenities. Unfortunately, when we arived in the evening of our check-in date, our unit had not been cleaned. When we contacted the property manager he moved us to a different unit for that night, and then we moved into our unit after it was cleaned the next day. Not a huge problem, but we did feel like we lost a half day of our already short stay (3 nights). Everything else was fine.
