As the guests you are permitted to explore the surrounding paddocks whilst being aware of animals - keeping gates shut at all times, and maintaining distance from the cattle/ sheep.

The Neighborhood:
Springside is a cute suburb just 15 minutes drive from the CBD of Orange. Springside offers a relaxing escape whilst still being conveniently located close to town to experience all that Orange has to offer. Once you reach the CBD of Orange, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out, grabbing your morning coffee, walking through the parks, sipping on your favourite drink at a local bar or shopping at our gorgeous boutiques and local homeware spots.
The historic village of Millthorpe is also close by and only a 20 minute drive from the cottage. In Millthorpe you can walk the cobblestone streets, visit the many amazing and eclectic homeware stores and have a bite to eat at an array of restaurants and cafes. Make sure to try the famous hatted restaurant 'Tonic', grab a coffee and some local produce at Providore and try the delicious lunch and sweets at The Old Mill.
Orange and Millthorpe are both home to many wonderful wineries and cellar doors. Slow Wine Co, Angullong and Tamburlaine wines are all in the village of Millthorpe.
