3 Bedroom Cabin in Cashes Valley, Blue Ridge

Welcome to “Catch a Good Time” Cabin on Fightingtown Creek!
Take it easy at your unique and tranquil Blue Ridge getaway. Our newly remodeled cabin is just the spot to unwind and let your worries wash away with the creek. The cabin sits 10 steps from roaring Fightingtown Creek! Fish off the porch, play in the creek, kayak up or down the creek (kayaks included!), relax on the big screened-in porch, or sleep in and enjoy the sounds of the creek from your bed. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (the master bedroom is a queen bed, the second bedroom is a queen bed, and the third bedroom is a full bed) and has 2 bathrooms. Our cabin is private, the creek is rushing (yet gentle), and it’s a great place to make memories!
The Space:
Our creekside cabin is such a great place to “chillax”. You can paddle up and down the creek with the 2 adult kayaks and 2 youth kayaks that are included in your stay. You can take a dip and swim in the cool mountain stream. You can watch the day drift by on the screened-in porch as you read your favorite book. The cabin is about 1100 sq ft inside and the screened-in porch is an additional 400 sq ft of outdoor living space. The living room and kitchen are open concept and share the same space. We have a high chair in the closet for little kiddos. The living room has a 50” flat screen TV that swivels to your preferred angle, and we provide ESPN+, HULU, and Disney+ on the living room TV. The master bedroom includes a queen bed with a 49” flat screen TV that has Roku on it. If you prefer any other streaming service, please bring your own! There is a pack n play in the closet. The master bath is inside the master bedroom. It includes a shower with a tub, a toilet, and a vanity. The master also has a desk and chair so you can set up a workspace. The internet is fast for our area and allows you to work easily from the cabin! The second bedroom has a queen bed and a closet. The third bedroom has a full bed. The second bath is connected to the living room. This bath houses the washer and dryer. It also contains a smaller stall shower (plenty big enough to get squeaky clean), a toilet, and a vanity. There is a sunroom off the third bedroom that is a great area to play games or curl up with a book and read. It could also be used as a workspace if you have a laptop that can sit on your lap. The screened-in porch has a 6-person table, a double glider, two sitting chairs, and two very comfortable swinging macrame chairs (which we love). The creek is loud on the porch. It’s about all you can hear! We’ve included 2 yoga mats for your yoga practices. The porch is a great place to loosen your mind and your body. The porch is also the gathering place for our family...so be prepared to spend lots of time outside! On the other side of the cabin, a welcoming, quiet patio houses a grill and a brand new hot tub! Slip into your swim suit and relax your body in the hot tub as you make more memories with your friends and loved ones. We also love the picnic table and swing that reside under the porch. They are great for meals by the creek. The fire pit is large and sits at least 6 people. We have 6 plastic Adirondack chairs to sit back and enjoy your s’mores in.
