Situated in a quiet loop street, this comfortable family home is available for short and medium term lets. Rather than stay at a B&B or a hotel rent an entire house. You will be less than a 5 minute walk from the popular Watson shops which provide groceries, a post office, a take-away, restaurants, hair salons and more. Plus bus connections to anywhere in Canberra. EPIC is within walking distance.
Cook at home inside in the well equipped kitchen or outside under cover on the BBQ.
Cockatoo House has one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with bunks and one bedroom with a double bed. A portacot is available. Basic price provides doonas, pillows, bathmats, one towels and tea towels. Full linen and towels for all or some bedrooms can be arranged at most times during the year.
Two living areas provide plenty of space. Plus there is a covered deck and fully fenced back garden.

Summary: It house is tired and needs some upkeep. Not even basics such as sufficient washing up liquid or oil were provided although there was lots of toilet paper. The lawns needed mowing. Had to provide our own linen. Not great value for money.
