Enjoy amazing Hill Country views, starry skies and peaceful natural surroundings. You'll have your choice of having breakfast prepared for you and served on the deck at a time you specify, or having all of the ingredients assembled and waiting for you in the kitchen so you can make your own.

The Cottage has a large deck with two entrances to the house with a small pool, dining area, 2 seating areas, and 2 chase lounges as well as a dart board!
The Cottage has a full kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, 4 burner range, oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, blender, and all of the pots, pans, utensils and glasses you'll need.
The main bedroom has a king sized bed with 2 nightstands with electrical outlets in the lamps. It also has a dresser and mirror, large closet with hangers and a desk and two chairs. It has an independent air conditioner/heater with its own remote control.
The second bedroom has two twin beds that can be put together for a split-king bed upon request. There are two nightstands with lamps and multiple electrical outlets, along with a large closet with hangers. It has an independent air conditioner/heater with its own remote control.
The bathroom has a tub/shower with a shower head that can be hand held or kept in place. Soap and shampoo and a blow drier are provided in case you didn't bring your own. The blow dryer is in the middle drawer under the sink along with the first aid kit if you happen to need it. Plenty of towels and wash cloths are available as well.
The Cottage also has a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and fabric softener are provided should you need them.
You'll also have access to our large outdoor space, a wide open yard of native plants and live oak and cedar trees, offering stunning views of the Texas Hill Country. A gas grill, Adirondack chairs, a hammock and a corn hole game are available for your use.
Indoor entertainment includes a 55-inch 4K Roku TV with YouTubeTV included, which includes all of the major cable channels and local network channels. You can also use your own accounts for other streaming services. The apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Hulu, Apple TV and Peacock are already installed, you just need to enter your account info (We'll check to make sure you remembered to delete your account info after you leave!). Books and games are also available.
There is also a queen-sized air mattress available if you have more than 4 people. It can be set up on the floor in the living room. Advanced notice will be needed for it to be available.

Bluebonnet Cottage is located in a natural, rural setting. This means the property is home to wildlife, which may include insects and animals. We enjoy seeing deer, wild turkeys, road runners, hummingbirds, painted buntings, warblers and hawks.
Spiders, scorpions and snakes may also live on the property, and we hope if you encounter any, that you'll simply leave them alone. This is the country after all. We do our best to keep the area free of any unwanted critters, but sometimes they show themselves.
Quiet hours after 10 pm, which means no loud music or television, and anyone outside keeps their voices down. Sound tends to carry a long way around here and we would like to respect our neighbors.
No parties or events without prior approval from hosts (additional deposits or fees may apply). We can also help with supplies, etc. if requested.
Absolutely no hunting on the property.
No firearms are allowed on the property.
If you go walking, please respect our neighbors properties and stay on the roads or in public areas.
