We love extending to our guests the warm hospitality we received in our travels to 50 countries around the world. It informs the amenities we provide and our conversations. Come experience it for yourself! The Suite entrances have electric locks, and each guest receives their own door code, so no need to worry about losing a key. We also offer the option of self check-in, which gives you privacy and the ability to check-in late at night, if needed. Motion-activated and solar powered lighting have been installed to make pathways well-lit and easy to identify.
We have a three-level town home with a butterfly garden and patio in the backyard. The Comfy Suite is a private, state-of-the-art finished full basement suite. Shared space includes access to our backyard patio and washer/dryer, if needed. We are proud to be called “five star superhosts” by our guests for over three years!
Guest Interaction:
We always love sharing stories and experiences with guests, it is one of the delightful parts of hosting. However, if you are shy or don’t want much social interaction, we give you that space to rest and recharge.
Having lived in other neighborhoods in the Silver Spring, Alexandria, Annapolis and Baltimore regions, we are happy to point to places to go and things to do throughout the region. And if you are interested, we certainly have our favorite places elsewhere in the world to share! Other things to note:
For guests staying a week or longer, towels and sheets will be laundered once a week, usually on either Friday or Saturday.
We can convert the couch to either two extra long twins or put together to form a king size. Ask us for detailed pictures for options upon booking. Some king size configurations do entail extra fees due to the complexity of set-up, and will mean we will be unable to accommodate late checkout requests.
Family Details:
As parents of a young child, many toys, books, games and gear will be around. Having traveled internationally quite a bit with our small child, we understand the joys and the struggles! A cute townhouse neighborhood less than 4 miles from restaurants, grocery stories, Target, Michael’s, and WalMart. An even greater variety of shopping is only 10 miles away in Fredericksburg or Woodbridge, including Costco, Ikea, malls and movie theaters.
