Positive: Comforts of Whidbey is a perfect getaway! I recently stayed there and had a pleasant experience. Rita, our host, was friendly and made me feel right at home. The location is perfect, situated next to a forest with a view of the bay and just a short distance from downtown. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious apples cooked by Rita from her garden. There was a good variety of options, and the portions were generous - I couldn’t finish everything! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and I enjoyed seeing the alpacas on Sunday morning, which added a nice touch to my stay.
Negative: One downside was that the walls are quite thin, so I could hear my neighbors snoring and talking at times. However, this minor issue didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. Also, it would be nice to have a hand shower with a hose instead of a spout mounted way up high, making it easier to use.
