Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Idyllic location on a hilltop . Breezy, and countryside. Beautiful, well stocked kitchen. Rooms were cozy. The caretaker was very efficient and nice. Overall a very stay barring a few misses.

Negative: Cleanliness could have been better. It’s a beautiful property but not maintained well enough. There were cobwebs. Also washing machine was broken. Hot water was not available in the wash basin tap . Hot water for bathroom took a long time to heat and was sparse. While the stay was pleasant, I found it lacking in value for the price paid.

Summary: An idyllic and charming cottage with great staff, and amenities, delicious variety of food options , but overall upkeep
