Summary: We had 3 couples staying for 3 nights. First, the property manager (Katie) and owner were outstanding. They were at the house when we arrived and gave us the history and a full tour of the house (a converted church!). Katie was always available to answer questions and we were very impressed at the amenities offered including some delicious homemade cookies, coffee/espresso maker and they welcomed us to use much of the refrigerator contents. The "open welcome" was the best we've ever had and we immediately felt like family vs. renters! This is a home that you will never see again. It's a converted church turned into an exceptional art museum and interior design gallery. Every place you look you see something new - but always in excellent taste, clean and uncluttered. We enjoyed getting pizza from the local market, just a block away and spent a couple days in Springfield visiting the Lincoln museum and library. The only suggestion is to ensure people know that there are two huge bedrooms, each with sitting rooms and baths. The third bedroom is very small with no storage space. We made due and were very pleased that a downstairs bath with shower was available for this third couple. Other than this, we all loved staying at this very unique and beautiful home.
