Positive: Great location. Very comfortable cottage.
Negative: The wifi (or actually the stone age ADSL) is atrocious. Not having any would maybe be less annoying than an unreliable 6MB down and 0.1 up with a latency of 500ms! There is a big flatscreen TV in the cottage that really only allows you to steam content, or rather watch it buffer all the time. In the age of starlink where you can get 100Mbit anywhere for around £35/mo this is really not up to standard. And of course the lighting; spending your evenings in ultra cold white light doesn’t match the cottage vibe. Would have been nice if they put in something more ‘middle of the road’ or taken a trip to ikea and get a couple of zigbee lights with adjustable color temperature.
Summary: Very nice cottage if you don’t mind atrocious wifi or the horrible cold white light
