Summary: This was a charming country house hotel, with friendly and professional staff. However the room was a huge disappointment. While sold as small bedroom nothing prepared us for how small. No room to sit or put anything. The small furniture had the appearance of having born bought in a jumble sale. A hotel which purports to be a quality country house hotel, with rates to match, should have no rooms like this so inconsistent with a 'Hotel of Distinction'. The bathroom extractor fan sounded like an Apache helicopter landing and was unable to be mended duding our stay. Not value for money and the room was not the treat we were anticipating.
